Emperor Social Link Persona 3 Answers And Schedule
Building a strong bond with Hidetoshi Odagiri in Persona 3 allows players to maximize the Emperor Social Link and unlock powerful Persona fusions. As the treasurer of the Student Council at Gekkoukan High School, Hidetoshi presents a rigid personality focused on discipline and strict adherence to school rules. Understanding his schedule and choosing the best conversation responses will help you rank up this link smoothly throughout your school year.
Unlocking and Availability Schedule
The Emperor Social Link becomes available early in the game starting on April 27th after Mitsuru invites you to join the Student Council. Hidetoshi can be found in the Student Council Room located on the second floor of the school building. He is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday afternoons during normal school days.
It is important to keep in mind that Hidetoshi will not be available on days when school is closed or during exam weeks. Planning your schedule around these regular weekdays ensures you do not miss opportunities to advance his storyline. Carrying a Persona of the Emperor Arcana during your interactions will significantly boost the relationship points you earn from dialogue choices.
Best Dialogue Answers for Ranking Up
Hidetoshi responds best to answers that validate his authority, support his drive for order, and respect his dedication to the student council. In early ranks, agreeing with his strict stance on enforcing rules helps build rapid trust. Supporting his investigation into campus misconduct shows him that you are a dependable ally in maintaining school integrity.
As the narrative progresses toward higher ranks, Hidetoshi begins to struggle with his harsh methods and the alienation of his peers. Choosing responses that encourage him to reconsider his extreme approach while still supporting his goal of justice yields the best results. Balancing empathy with strong support allows him to grow into a more thoughtful leader while maximizing your Social Link points.
Social Link Rewards and Final Fusion
Reaching Rank 10 with Hidetoshi completes the Emperor Social Link and resolves his character arc regarding leadership and compromise. Upon maxing out this bond, players receive the Cheap Lighter item, which serves as the key material required for a special arcana fusion. This key item remains with you and enables high-level combat advantages for the rest of your playthrough.
The primary reward for completing this Social Link is the ability to fuse Odin, the ultimate Persona of the Emperor Arcana. Odin possesses formidable electric magic and high-tier passive skills that make him an invaluable asset in late-game battles. Investing time into Hidetoshi's schedule ultimately pays off by drastically improving your strategic capabilities in Tartarus.
